What the installation can include

We consider trees, hills, chimneys and rooflines that could interrupt the terminal as satellites move overhead.
Mounting and cable route
Bracketry, pole positioning, weather exposure, exterior containment and the indoor entry point are planned for the individual site.
WiFi and network integration
The connection can be handed to the supplied router, third-party network equipment, mesh WiFi, access points or a compatible dual-WAN router.
Primary connectivity or business failover
Starlink may be the main connection at a rural location, but it can also support continuity planning. A business with fibre can retain that service as primary and use Starlink as the backup connection through suitable dual-WAN equipment. The right design depends on how quickly services need to recover, which devices must remain online and how the local network is configured.
Equipment, subscription and independent installation
Customers purchase their Starlink equipment and subscription directly from Starlink. WiFiSetup is an independent installation and network service. We can advise on placement and practical setup, but package availability, pricing and service terms remain controlled by Starlink and may change.
Any Welsh connectivity funding should be checked against current official eligibility and availability before it is relied upon. A grant or reimbursement should never be assumed until the relevant authority has confirmed it.
